RACER™ Training

Thank you for your interest in our RACER training classes. Earth Tech strives to provide the best possible experience for learning our patented software package. Please note Earth Tech's training policy, and if you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to let us know.

Earth Tech currently offers numerous classes in the area of cost engineering, environmental engineering for cost professionals, and the different ways to utilize the RACER software. The following is a list of our current classes offered:

It is recommended that individuals attending training be comfortable working with a Windows Operating System environment and have basic knowledge of cost engineering methodologies. Please see, a listing of local hotels(PDF), and a map(PDF) to our training facility. There is a registration form in the RACER Training Catalog(PDF) if you would like to register for a class. Please read our RACER software training policy below.

Registration:

Attendees should register three weeks (21 calendar days) before the scheduled class. To register, please complete and sign the Registration Form(PDF). Incomplete or unsigned registration forms will delay processing of your request.

Training Materials

Software: Training will be provided on the latest version of our software (RACER™ 2006). Student who are using previous version of RACER should contact Earth Tech to upgrade to the most recent version.

Computer Use: Earth Tech will provide computers for your use for training at Earth Tech's classroom in Englewood, Colorado. Students are welcome to bring a personal laptop computer as long as the most recent RACER version is installed prior to the beginning of class. Students are encouraged to bring real-world estimates to reference during class. For training at your facility, the Earth Tech training will contact the designated class sponsor regarding computer and software requirements.

Training Class Size: Earth Tech limits the training class size at our facility to twelve (12) students. For training at your facility, Earth Tech recommends no more than twelve (12) students so that proper attention is available to the students.

Cancellation and Rescheduling Policies:

Earth Tech may find it necessary to change the dates that a training class is offered, or to cancel a training class due to low enrollment (less than three (3) people). Training class content, prices, and dates are subject to change without prior notice.

In the event we change or cancel a class date, Earth Tech will contact registrants within two (2) business day. If a class is cancelled, we will promptly issue a refund for the cost of the class. Earth Tech is not responsible for incurred travel costs by the trainee.

Cancellation and Rescheduling Training Class Requests:

Earth Tech requests that you send a written notification to the Training Coordinator for processing. Written notification may be sent to Earth Tech via fax at 303-771-3194 or by email to RACER@earthtech.com. The Training Coordinator will notify you that your request has been received. If you do not hear from the Training Coordinator within two (2) business days, please call 303-771-3103 to verify receipt.

For training at our facility, the following refund policy applies:

Cancellations: Cancellations received in writing more than twenty-one (21) calendar day in advance of the class start day will receive 100% reimbursement of course fees.

Cancellations received in writing at least fifteen (15) but less than twenty-one (21) calendar days in advance of the class start date will receive 50% reimbursement of course fees.

Cancellations received in writing less than fifteen (15) calendar days in advance of the class start date will not receive any reimbursement of course fees.

For training at your facility, the following refund policy applies:

In addition to the above cancellation fees, you will be responsible for the instructor cancellation fee of $1,500.00. If cancellation requests are received in writing less than fourteen (14) calendar days in advance of the class set up installation date or the class start date, whichever date comes first.

Payment

Payment for training must be received at least twenty-one (21) business days before the scheduled class. Earth Tech accepts VISA, MasterCard, Government IMPAC cars, a signed purchase order, or a check payable to Earth Tech. The payment should be submitted along with the Training Order form.

Pricing

Prices are listed in the RACER Training Catalog(PDF) for classes taught at the Earth Tech Englewood-South (Denver, Colorado) office. Prices are the same for classes at another location, provided the location meets size and equipment criteria (contact Earth Tech for details), exclusive of travel costs.

Transportation and Lodging

Transportation to the training site and hotel arrangements are the students' responsibility. Earth Tech assumes no responsibility for nonrefundable travel arrangements losses resulting from course scheduling changes or cancellations.
